There’s even more for history lovers at the Loudoun Museum’s Facebook page. The museum’s History on Tap streams are live every Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 

April 30 highlights music past and present with historians and local musicians including Jamie and Amy Potter of The Crooked Angels and Bess Putnam. The May 7 edition, “1862: Hot to Handle,” hones in on year two of the Civil War with Anne Marie Paquette and Travis Shaw from the Mosby Heritage Area Association, Joe Rizzo from the Loudoun Museum and special guest Kevin Pawlak from the Prince William County Historic Preservation Division.

This week the museum also hosts a special virtual Friday evening event: Virtual Vintage Happy Hour. This special program, “Henry Clay & The Joy of the Julep,” features historians discussing the legends behind some popular 19th Century cocktails and offering tips for home mixologists. Check it out at
