The chilly weather and concerns about COVID-19 didn’t stop about 150 people from enjoying a few hours of bluegrass at B Chord Brewing Co. on Saturday night.
Bluegrass greats Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen and Larry Keel and Friends graced the brewery’s stage for a good, old-fashioned Bluegrass Throw Down. Concertgoers sat up their lawn chairs and blankets on the B Chord property’s hillside to watch Solivan and Keel perform well into the night on a stage set up just outside the brewery’s taproom. Attendees sipped on beer to banjo plucking and guitar chords, and were cognizant enough to wear their face masks as they roamed about.
It was the first time Solivan had played a show with his entire band, Dirty Kitchen, in eight months.
