One of Loudoun County’s favorite summer concert series has unveiled its 2018 lineup. And even though the first notes of the Tarara Summer Concert Series won’t be sung for another three months, fans of the music showcase are already purchasing tickets.

Tarara Winery, just north of Leesburg, hosts the summer concerts each Saturday evening from May 26 through Sept. 29. The season will kick off with one of the series’ most popular acts, ’80s pop band The Reflex.

The series promises to continue bringing a versatile ensemble of music to the Tarara stage, from classic rock to ’80s pop to country music and modern hits. Some of the crowd favorites on this year’s schedule are Gonzo’s Nose, Slippery When Wet, The Legwarmers, Sam Grow, Delta Spur, Brencore Allstars, and Dr. Fu.

“We heard from many concert attendees last season and added a few different genres of music, but kept many of the staple bands that people love dancing to every summer,” said Rusty Foster, president of Events by Bow Tie, the company that produces and manages the Tarara Summer Concert Series. “On top of that, the fabulous view of the open-air venue, the rotation of food trucks, and the selection of Tarara Wine, all create the perfect atmosphere for our concerts.”

Tickets for the 2018 Tarara Summer Concert Series are available for purchase online at and in the tasting room at Tarara Winery, 13648 Tarara Lane north of  Lucketts. People are encouraged to purchase tickets early as several of the shows are expected to sell out.

Individual tickets purchased online are $15 for adults 21 years and older, and $10 for those 20 years and younger. Tickets are $5 more at the door. Children 7 years old and younger are free. Season tickets are $200 for two adults.

VIP tents that offer more private listening experience are also available. The tents include tickets to the concert, tables and chairs, linens, the best views of the stage and catering and wine options.
