A new exhibit at the Franklin Park Art Center showcases the work of Richard Busch, who as a New York City-based photographer covered the festival as well as many of the rock stars of the era.
Busch will discuss his works on Sunday during an artist’s reception at the center.
The exhibit includes pictures from the concert; images of Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, Eric Clapton, Ike and Tina Turner, the Rolling Stones, Roger Daltrey, Joe Cocker, the Jefferson Airplane; and pictures from the first Earth Day in 1970, the 1969 anti-Vietnam March on Washington, the infamous Chicago 7 trial.
The program will be held Aug. 30 starting at 6:30 p.m. Admission is a pay-what-you-will donation, but advance registration is required because of the limited seating to ensure safe physical distancing.
