The National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles Airport will reopen to the public on Friday for the first time since its closing as a public health precaution in mid-March.
The museum will reopen for regular hours—10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.—with new health and safety measures in place. Visitors will be required to obtain free, timed-entry passes for both the Udvar-Hazy Center and the National Zoo, which will reopen the same day. All other Smithsonian museums will remain closed to the public.
All visitors will be required to wear face coverings and follow all new procedures, including socially distancing and following signage directing visitor flow.
