The Loudoun Symphony will celebrate Independence Day with a special Stars and Stripes Virtual Gala fundraiser Thursday.

The hour-long event beginning at 7 p.m.  July 2 will features patriotic music and musical performances by Loudoun Symphony Orchestra musicians, as well as an auction to benefit the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra and Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra Program, which is training the next generation of musicians. 

Required registration is free at www.loudounsymphony.org. The deadline is Wednesday, July 1.  An invitation to attend the virtual gala will be sent to those registered the day of the event.

Auction ítems include: gardening and bird-watching baskets, dining experiences, vacation rentals, African masks and even a painting by artist Maggie Siner.  

Now in its 30th season, the mission of the Loudoun Symphony is to enrich our community through music. To carry out this mission, a full season of seven orchestral concerts is presented, including two annual holiday concerts. The educational outreach program includes the Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra program which now provides performance opportunities for talented students through three ensembles and intensive training through a week-long Summer Strings Camp.
