After four rounds of shows throughout November, Northern Virginia’s Unsullied rocked their way to the top Friday night and won Crooked Run’s Battle of the Bands.

The three-year-old, three-person rock band—comprised of Henry Manadjian on drums, Kyle Moriarty on bass and vocals and Jory Luchsinger on guitar—beat the Ashburn-based, all-female band StoneCold by nearly double the votes—126 to 62. Unsullied arose victorious after four rounds of shows that also included Blue Wreck, Broad Run Mutiny, Albino Rhino, The Sharpened Flats, Sofa King and Badassassins.

The band plans to use their winnings, $1,500, to record an album that will come out in 2020. In the immediate future, they’ll share the stage with One Way Out DC and The SuperChargers in a show this Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, DC.

Meanwhile, StoneCold—featuring Ryanne on vocals, Gina on guitar, Kaelin on Bass, Nadia on Keyboard and Lauren on drums—is planning a four-show tour along the East Coast.
