For 53 years, the Loudoun Hunt Point to Point on the grounds of Oatlands Historic House and Gardens near Leesburg has been a rite of spring.
The April 14 event not only features top-level competition on some of the most challenging timber and hurdle courses in Virginia, but serves as a community celebration—a reunion of sorts following the winter hibernation.
Racing kicks off at noon with an exhibition sidesaddle race and continues through the afternoon. Pack a tailgate of snacks, pick out a new spring hat and join the fun.
General admission is $40 per car, paid at the gate. Access to the subscriber parking area is $75 per car.
