Loudoun’s most artistic scavenger hunt resumes March 15 when the Gallery Game returns.

It just takes a few friends, a quick download of a smartphone app and a little competitive spirit. By the end of the evening, you’ll have had a good tour of downtown Leesburg, seen some great pieces of art in places you may not have visited before—and, hopefully, have all the clue needed to solve the night’s puzzle and win a prize.

The event debuted last year as a way to promote Leesburg’s arts scene.

Each competition begins at 6 p.m. at the designated “go site” where participants can gather, enjoy a drink, and wait for the announcement to begin the game. There, participants will be told the special password to start the game on the app, which will give provide a hint for a clue to find at each of the participating galleries that month. Tonight, the event kicks off at Trinity House Café and ends at Shoes Cup & Cork.

You’ll have to visit several galleries within walking distance and use hints to find clues at each location that will be used to solve the night’s puzzle, one devised by the folks at Exit Plan. The first three participants to solve the puzzle win prizes, including tickets to Exit Plan, gift certificates to participating galleries and merchants.

Download the Scavify App on your smartphone and go to the website gallerygame.org for more detials.
